Now the Leaves are Falling Fast Summary in Hindi

3. Now the Leaves are Falling Fast

‘Now the Leaves are Falling Fast’ is a nature poem, which has been composed by W. H. Auden. In this poem, the poet has described the difficulties of human life. Human desires are not fulfilled as well as this lesson shows the feeling of loneliness.

  1. H. Auden was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Age of Anxiety in 1948.

Through this poem the poet says that now the leaves are falling fast. They are leaving their branches. The trees have become leafless. Even the flowers under the trees are not able to survive. Greenery is getting lost from the life of trees. Trees and plants are also leading a life full of despair.

On the despair of life, the poet says that the messengers of death are roaming around us. When will we die? We have no idea. Hundreds have died before us.

We are falling in the false love of this world. The nightingale has also stopped singing. There is disappointment in his life too. There is no happiness to be seen anywhere. Everyone is going through life with sadness.

Poets say that no angel is coming, who can help us.

Evil spirits are roaming all around. There is no one to bless us.

Through this poem the poet says that our life is too short. We should live happily. We should help people. We should make us other happy.

At last, the poet says that death is certain. That is why we should remember God and do moral work.
