11. A Marriage Proposal
‘A Marriage Proposal’ is a play written by Anton Chekov. In this text the author tells of the wedding of Natalia and her neighbor Lamov, which turns out to be their own trouble.
शादी का प्रस्ताव एक नाटक है, जिसे एंटोन चेकोव के द्वारा लिखा गया है। इस पाठ में लेखक ने नाटालिया और उसके पड़ोसी लामोव के शादी के शादी के बारे में बताते हैं, जो अपनी खुद की परेशानी के कारण बनते हैं।
Chobukov was Natalia’s father, the owner of the land. Lamov was a neighbor of Chobukov, who is 25 years old.
चोबूकोव नाटालिया के पिता था, जो जमींन का मालिक था। लामोव, चोबूकोव का पड़ोसी था, जिसकी आयु 25 वर्ष होती है।
Lomov goes to the decorated Natalia’s house to ask her father Chobukov for his hand.
लोमोव सज-धज के नाटालिया के घर उसके पिता चोबूकोव से उसका हाथ माँगने के लिए जाता है।
Natalia also liked Lomov. Lomov and Natalia start talking to each other. A fight breaks out between the two over a grass field. Lomov angrily leaves Natalia’s house and goes to his house.
नाटालिया भी लोमोव को पसंद करती थी। लोमोव और नाटालिया एक दूसरे से बात करने लगते हैं। दोनों के बीच एक घास के मैदान को लेकर झगड़ा हो जाती है। लोमोव गुस्सा होकर नाटालिया के घर से निकलकर अपने घर चला जाता है।
When Natalia learns from her father that Lomov had come with an offer to marry you. Natalia gets angry and starts telling her father why not tell earlier. She tells her father that all the fault is yours. She tells her father to go and bring him. Then Lomov is called.
नाटालिया को जब उसके पिता के द्वारा पता चलता है कि लोमोव तुमसे शादी करने के लिए प्रस्ताव लेकर आया था। नाटालिया गुस्से हो जाती है और अपने पिता कहने लगती है कि पहले क्यों नहीं बताये। वह अपने पिता को कहती है कि सारी गलती आपकी है। वह अपने पिता को कहती है कि जाकर उसे बुलाकर लाइए। फिर लोमोव को बुलाया जाता है।
Lomov and Natalia then quarrel over their dog. Seeing the quarrel between the two, Chobukov lies down on the ground. Lomov and Natalia pick up Chobukov, then Chobukov says that I am dying now. That’s why I want you two to get married. When both accept. So Chobukov gets up and stands up.
लोमोव और नाटालिया फिर अपने-अपने कुत्ता के लेकर झगड़ा कर लेते हैं। दोनों के झगड़े को देखकर चोबूकोव जमीन पर लेट जाता है। लोमोव और नाटालिया चोबूकोव को उठाते हैं, तो चोबूकोव कहता है कि मैं अब मर रहा हूँ। इसलिए मैं चाहता हूँ कि तुमदोनों शादी कर लो। जब दोनों स्वीकार कर लेते हैं। तो चोबूकोव उठकर खड़ा हो जाता है।
Thus, Lomov and Natalia forget their quarrel and get married.
इस प्रकार, लोमोव और नाटालिया आपसी झगड़ा भूलाकर शादी कर लेते हैं।
